Biryani Hub is a solid choice for those looking to explore a broad spectrum of Indian cuisine without leaving Norfolk. Nestled on E Virginia Beach Blvd, this restaurant offers a modern take on traditional Indian flavors while covering North, South, and even North Eastern Indian specialties, along with some Indo-Chinese fusion touches. The atmosphere is casual yet clean, making it a comfortable spot for groups, families, or solo diners who appreciate attentive, friendly service.

The menu is diverse, with highlights like Lamb and Goat Biryani that, while sometimes varying from strict traditional preparation, deliver generous portions and rich flavors. You’ll find South Indian classics like the Paper Roast Dosai served with multiple chutneys, which add depth and variety. Indo-Chinese favorites such as Gobi Manchurian and Chicken Manchurian also appear, blending familiar spices with a touch of tang and heat. For refreshment, the Mango Lassi and freshly made Masala Tea provide a sweet and spiced balance to the meal.

Service is generally warm and quick, with some customers noting room for improvement in offering dish recommendations, but the staff’s friendliness stands out. The pace of food delivery might take a bit longer than a typical fast casual spot, which suggests more made-to-order dishes rather than frozen or pre-prepped fare.

This place works great for lunch or dinner, especially if you’re in a small group eager to share plates and sample a range of tastes — from crispy samosas layered with cooling yogurt and chutneys to hearty sizzlers like Goat Pepper Fry. Biryani Hub also caters well to vegan and vegetarian diners, with several flavorful vegetable appetizers and dosas, making it accessible for varied dietary preferences.

If you’re new to Indian food, this restaurant offers a balanced introduction without steering too far from recognizable dishes, and locals who enjoy authentic flavors keep returning. Patrons often come here from neighboring areas, highlighting the reputation it’s built in the region. It’s especially accommodating for takeaway orders, allowing a faithful taste of Indian cuisine to be enjoyed at home.

This is the first time visiting this restaurant, and food n service was great ! Their special chicken biryani is a must try. We also ordered Ghee roast dosa, which had good variety of chutneys. Overall, it has been a pleasant experience. Will surely stop-by when we visit Norfolk again.

We went here with a group from work and we shared a few plates i can't remember what they were but it was all so delish!!! Friendly staff with quick service! The goat Bryiani wasn't the best, came more of a layered rice dish, typically its all cooked together.

This was my second visit to Biryani Hub and both times have been excellent. The food is always delicious and the service is friendly. My Indian coworkers go out of their way from Newport News to come here as well and highly recommend it. I tried the Lamb Biryani weekend special and it was outstanding. A little pricey but the portion was huge! I should have shared it, but it'll be lunch tomorrow. We'll be back soon.

Highs- very authentic and tasty food. Goat Dum Biriyani gets a 5/5. Tried plain Dosa gets a 4/5 expected crispier and a bit more fermented. Wanted to try some goat curry and asked the server of recommendation to try. He couldn’t do recommendations but met the chef on the way out but was too late. Food takes a little more than normal time to show up. Overall a 5/5 must recommend for any taste buds, specifically Indian. Try the dum biriyani. Really made in dum, Hyderabad style.

Portions are generous, and the quality is consistent. Service was quick and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. Highly recommended for anyone craving real, delicious biryani. Me and my fiancé loved Biryani hub. We tried weekend specials; fish tandoori, Kerala Parotta, and Nalli goat biryani. It was so so good. Personally I loved the biryani most, it felt like spices exploded in my mouth and the goat was so soft and so well cooked. I loved how light the kerala parotta felt. The place felt cozy, staff were friendly and the service was good. The weekend specials are on Friday - Sunday. Overall

Absolutely loved the Nalli Gosht Biryani at Biryani Hub! The meat was perfectly tender, rich in flavor, and cooked to perfection. The aroma, spices, and portion size were spot on. One of the best biryanis I’ve had—highly recommended for all biryani lovers!
